Online  interest-based advertising  means that you decide which adverts you might like to see, simply based  on your activity on  websites and apps off of Facebook. Your activity on websites and apps  off of Facebook that use Facebook's services and technologies will help  Facebook to learn about which adverts you might be interested in. You  can see online  interest-based ads from Facebook on 
Facebook, or on other websites and  apps where FB serves ads.
You can control whether you see online interest-based ads from Facebook in your settings.
Tap on "Edit'' on the right to change it to your preference
Bear it in mind that if you choose not to see online interest-based ads  from Facebook you’ll still see ads, but they may not be as relevant to  you. If you turn on or off the ability to see online interest-based ads  from Facebook, they'll apply your choice across all your devices and  browsers.
